In fact when i decided to write a few lines on the movie 10000 BC i was a bit hesitant for the hype and the fury of the trailer in the form ofhorrifying mammoths and beasts do not have any relevance or impact in the real movie. It is a simple fantasy telling a deep love story and the usual heroic acts tosave the love and the society she lives in depicted in a most thrilling but unnatural and unrealistic way.
Wel the movie offers a full time entertainment for a couple of hours but fail to make a lasting impact like the Apocalypto or the Noah's Arc or any other historical celluloid depiction like gladiator and like. It ofers the gullible audience a thrilling enetertainment and valiant actions without the modern weapons or space vehicles.The film was able to capture the attention of audiences with outstanding special effects and beautiful scenes, but in the end, its plot and script will make them desperate , it lacks the originality and surprises, and does not go above an average disney movie .
After all the intention of an average movie is just to offer us a couple of hour's entertainment and not a research document of the period it depicts . In that sense the movie 10000 BC is worth the cost of tickets you spend.
