17 again is an amazing and entertaining movie. Many of us want to get back in time and rewrite some things in our live, undo some flaws or blunders we have committed or just to get back the time we missed or lost. Well 17 again is just that king of film but with little changes.
Mike O Donnell (Zac Efron) is a popular high school student and a star athlete heading straight for the college ship but then he decides to put an end to his successful college life and begin a new life with his high school girlfriend Scarlet (Leslie Mann) who is pregnant.
Twenty years later Mike (Matthew Perry) is very upset that his life has not turned out like what he had expected especially after his wife kicked him out of the house due to his constant complains and regrets. Mike is now living with his Millionaire best friend Ned Freedman (Thomas Lennon) who is apparently a software nerd. Things turn even worse for Mike when he could get promoted. Mike who now considers himself as a loser is approached by a janitor to whom mike shares his feelings and says how things were much better for him when he was 17. While driving back home mike sees the janitor who is ready to jump into the Los Angeles river, mike rushes to rescue him but the janitor disappears and mike falls into the river as a result he is turned into a 17 year old boy. The rest of the film of 17 again is about how mike inspires his son Alex (Sterling Knight) and brings out the true potential in him and how he protects his daughter Maggie (Michelle Trachtenberg) from he not-so-innocent boyfriend and how realizes his love for scarlet.
17 again is a very interesting movie which teaches us that we don’t understand the value of things until we loose it and it also teaches us who important relationships and their need. 17 again is at the top in the box office which means that the film is a huge hit. It is one of those films were you fell that the money you spent for the movie was really worth for it. 17 Again is a film no one should miss watching.
