The 3d effect of this movie is like an icing to the cake.Well we say say that avatar is the best thriller ever since 'jurassic park'. In the movie we are taken to the year 2145 where jake joins a group of scientists in their mission to take over the beautiful earthlike planet pandora which contains huge deposit of a minerl called 'unobtainium' which could be a huge aid for the earth which is now under lack of mineral resources.
The scientists who are now full equipped with mordern high-end techology are able to make their avatar which looks exactly like the blue skinned natives of pandora called na'vis.
Jake along with the group lands on pandora in their avatars and he accidently gets seperated from the group. jake is saved by neytiri before being captured by her clan. Neytitri mother aska her to teach him their ways of life.
After a couple of moths with the na'vis jake undergoes change of mind and now he has to choose between his mission and his love(neytiri). This movie has it all,midblowing 3d effects,breathtaking thriller scences,sensitive love story and the love of the na'vis to their planet.The floating moutains,flying beasts,third generation technology are undeniably outstanding.
Above all the mega show, the central theme of avatar remains human bond with nature. Avatar is one movie which you shoudn't miss.
